I do not like to follow rules. My view of the most regimented elements of our lives is like this chess game, in which the board warps and the figures decide not to follow their assigned path. Perhaps their shadows no longer adhere to rules, either? If so, their allegiance to the black or white camp could be thrown away. I allow the figures to gain autonomy and climb vertically. Other than that, life will be OK in this story.
